Using Re:Swing

Where should I put my iPhone?
In front of you or beside you, a few steps away, standing up, with all of you in the picture. The tutorial (Settings → Show me the tutorial again) walks through it.

How does it know when I swing?
Pause at address: a tone sounds and the edge of the screen turns green, which means it's ready. Then swing. A swing without that pause isn't filmed.

How do I save a swing?
Tap Save video while it plays, or, from the mat, raise one arm straight up above your head and hold it for two seconds. The screen's edge glows and counts down; drop your arm to cancel.

Saving says it failed.
Re:Swing needs permission to add videos to Photos. On your iPhone, open Settings → Apps → Re:Swing → Photos and choose Add Photos Only.

Where did my swings go?
Swings belong to a practice session. If you open Re:Swing again within two hours of your last swing, it offers them back; later than that, it starts a new session. Save the ones you want to keep to Photos.

My iPhone is getting warm.
Filming at high frame rates takes power. Keep the phone out of direct sun if you can. When it gets hot, Re:Swing slows down to cool it and shows a thermometer on screen.

Can I use it in another language?
Re:Swing speaks English, 繁體中文, 简体中文 and 日本語. It follows your iPhone's language, or pick one in Settings → Language.

The free trial and purchases

How does the free trial work?
You get 50 free swings, with no time limit. A swing counts when it's filmed. Your first run through the tutorial is free too.

What's the difference between the one-time purchase and a subscription?
The one-time purchase unlocks this version of Re:Swing and its updates. A subscription includes every future version, for as long as it lasts. See the Terms for details.

I bought Re:Swing, but it's asking me to unlock it again.
Open Settings in Re:Swing and tap Restore a purchase, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with. Purchases shared through Family Sharing work too.

How do I cancel my subscription?
On iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or Manage subscription in Re:Swing's Settings. If you switch to the one-time purchase, cancel the subscription afterwards — Apple doesn't cancel it for you.

How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
